500 gms Meat
2 nos Knorr Cubes
2 tbs Chopped Red Onions 3 Cloves Garlic
2 inch piece Cinnamon 2 inch piece Rampe
1 1/2 Cups Water
5 tbs Vinegar
100 gms Bombay Onions
1 inch piece Chopped Ginger 5 pods Cardamoms
1 sprig Curry Leaves
1 1/2 tsp Pepper Powder
2 tbs Ghee or Margarine
Salt to taste
The meat could be prepared in one chunk or cut into 2 or 3 pieces. Fork the meat all around very well and marinade in vinegar and salt for 1/2 hour. Heat the fat, melt the Knorr cubes, temper the rest of the ingredients except the pepper and B’ Onions. Add the chunks of meat, and let it cook in its own gravy for about 5 minutes. Add the water, let it simmer in closed pan on a slow fire until soft. Sprinkle the pepper.
Lastly, mix in the B’ Onions slices to the meat before taking off the fire.
